Korean Chatting #2: More emoticons

Here is a clip from a great Korean movie (My Sassy Girl / 엽기적인 그녀) which showcases three emoticons used by Koreans that you generally won’t find in America.

^^ is a gleeful face, .\/. is a mad face, and *____* is a smiling face. I’m sure you could already know that by watching the clip, but there’s the definitions anyways.

  1. ahahahaha… yah it’s cute… kalo nggak salah aku juga nemu ( #^o^)/ jadi wajah marah di film FRIENDS…

  2. I have never seen people using .V. or *___________*.

    The most frequently used emoticons are ^^, ^^;;, ^0^, -_-, ㅜ.ㅜ, and -0-.
Maybe, they are my most frequently used emoticons.
Of course, there are more :)

  3.
