    there’s also problem with the syllable length & tone

    for example, how should i pronounce mcdonalds?

    it’s supposed to be “long-short-long” & by tone it’s “down-up-down”

    but a foreigner could easily get confused and say it as “long-short-short” & “up-down-down”
