Korean CAPTCHA!? Now what??

For those who don’t know what a CAPTCHA is, it’s the thing where there’s an image with (usually) random letters and/or numbers like you see above where you have to type them out to verify that you are a real person rather than a computer bot.

Well, I was at school using the Macs and decided I wanted to join one of Cyworld‘s clubs (see previous post).  Well, those clubs usually have a form you have to fill out (like ‘how did you find us?’) so I was left thinking ‘how am I going to sign up for this cool club?’  Yeah, I probably could have easily saved the link to the club but I wanted to join it.  Now.

Then a thought came into my head … Korean Wiki Project!  I quickly ran over to http://www.koreanwikiproject.com/wiki/index.php?title=Hangeul_Assistant, typed out what I saw, and copied and pasted it back into the club registration form.  Easy as pie, I joined a Korean photography club from a computer without Hangeul installed!  If y’all ever need to type something in Korean or need to learn how to use Korean, I highly recommend trying Hangeul Assistant.
