Spotlight on Korean: Photography

meAtProtest

I absolutely love taking pictures so I joined the EOS-400D 450D 500D Club on Cyworld and learned some photography terms.  I’ve added them to the Korean Wiki Project, here’s a small exert from the photography vocabulary page of the different types of pictures you can take:

Another feature of the Korean Wiki Project is that you can click on individual Chinese roots to learn more about them.  It’s still a work in progress, but try clicking on some of the characters above (I know that 자, 감, 인, 물, 무, 보,  and 경 have entries).

See more on the photography vocabulary page.  Do you have some knowledge to contribute?  Feel free to add what you know to the Korean Wiki Project!

  1. 자유 in 자유사진 means “independence” or “freedom,” and it does not mean $0. 자유사진 doesn’t actually make literal sense so I think it’s a pun for the English word free.
