Since I’ve posted so many North Korean propaganda posters, I feel like I need to lighten up the posts by sharing my favorite Korean “Engrish” signs with y’all. I think we can all laugh at the mistakes we make, and I know I’ve made a lot of language mistakes. Anyways, here it goes:
#10 – All they needed to do was google “luxuly”…
#9 – Mmmm …. Robster! Wait a second …
#8 – I actually feel the most sorry for the guy in the ad
#7 – Don’t like someone? Get them a gift here!
#6 – They ain’t happy any more …
#5 – This is funny on so many levels
#4 – Human Water is people! (just google Soylent Green….)
#3 – Now I want to add gigle gigle to every food…
#2 – The newest urban sport
#1 – At least English was spelled right …
Well, there ya go! If you want to find some more funny signs and other things in English, go check out Engrish.com

u havent been there though, right? still i’d say it looks pretty accurate
@박준범
Yep, still here in the states. I had a friend who complimented my other friend’s crab, she said: “Thanks for the crap soup!”. I can understand those kinds of mistakes, they’re pretty easy to make (and insanely funny). Seeing #5 really made me laugh because of what my friend had said.
I’ve seen Blue Crap at a restaurant in Daegu, in fact. We didn’t order it. Too expensive.
Also I found this on some other site a few weeks ago: http://i32.tinypic.com/iylbgk.jpg
This is funny!
I know lots of Korean want to use the name of restaurant in English. But the spelling is weird including me!LOL
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAAHAHAHAHAH,
These just made me LMAO.
Well, anyway… I found this blog on the U of U Korean Student Association
website. You need a place to stay in SLC? I wish I had one more room but
I am living in one bed room place right now. I hope you could find a place to
stay. Plus, this is a very well organized website. I am very impressed by
your work.
Thanks ^^ Maybe I’ll see you on campus next semester!
Hunt kids?!?!? puhahahahha explosive funny xDD
About the robster, luxuly and blue crap… In hangeul, the r and l are only one character which is this one – ㄹ. Same as the b and the p, it is only one character in korean, ㅂ.
