I just checked Ninja Assassin over at Rotten Tomatoes, which I’ve found to be pretty accurate in the past, and I couldn’t believe what I saw. Tomatometer: 28%. Average rating: 4.4/10. Wow. I haven’t seen it yet and from the sounds of it I probably won’t.
it will be like D-Wars. fail.
The low ratings come from people looking for a plot. All the reviews written by action fans that I’ve read were wholly satisfied with the film. So it depends on what you’re looking for.
I’m not so sure Rain is gonna get many more offers after this… his second bomb… lol

Well, to his credit it was probably due to the story writers / producer(s). I can’t say though since I haven’t watched it.
I’m more concerned about the Wachowski Brothers’ name at this point. After V For Vendetta everything they’ve put out has done horribly. At least Rain can fall back on Asia if he bombs in Hollywood.
