Welcome new year!

January 1st, 2010 Leave a comment Go to comments

I can’t believe I started this blog at the end of 2008 and have successfully blogged for over a year!  The last year has been pretty eventful.  I survived my last semester at BYU, successfully transferred to the University of Utah, resigned from the LDS/Mormon church peacefully, found a great job, and got accepted to Seoul National University allowing me to finally go to Korea after years of preparation.  How about that?  Well, I’m looking forward to another great year where I’ll be spending most of my time in Korea.  I’ll be able to study and make friends with some of the smartest university students in Korea, travel and see beautiful sites both in and out of Korea, continue to improve myself and learn more about who I am and who I want to be, and who knows what else.  Thanks to everyone who reads my blog, I hope that we can all learn together and have some laughs as I start my journey to Korea.  I’m sure that I’ll have my ups and my downs, but part of learning is experiencing the hardships and getting through them and learning and sharing your experiences with others.  Bring it on 2010.

We’re in the same boat. I am looking forward to being in Seoul (Happy Dance) in 2010 and just enjoying the newness of it and all the experiences, people, and places I will come across.

    Here’s to Korea 2010:)

I wish good luck to both of you and, of course, a happy New Year!

이거 익명으로도 쓸수 있는거야? 아무 로그인같은거 안하고 지금 시도중이야, matt.
This is suzy, I came back from East coast trip.

I agree with your last year was really eventful more than mine.
Hopefully this winter semester I will be able to survive in here, provo.
그리고 나서 훌쩍 다른곳으로 가고 싶어 ㅋㅋ

Matt, what blog are you using and posting a lot?
I will visit the blog which you use mostly.
1년 후 그러니까 2011년에 다시 오겠구나 미국에; 그때까지
    정말 재밌게 보내길 바래.
Seoul will like you, and you will like there.

    Best of luck!

I found your videos on youtube. I served in 대전 in 92-93 and I miss it something awful. I did get to go back and teach in a 학원 with my husband, right after we got married. I’d like to go back again just to visit. And eat. And take lots and lots of pictures.
