So I’ve had this guy who I didn’t even know go absolutely mental one day and he has had it in for me ever since.  I believe it was me originally who sent a friend invite (yeah, I was an idiot) and he accepted.  Things were all right for a while, but then I noticed he was starting to be a little creepy.  He knew I used to be a member of the church but I think he still thought I was a member (which I’m not) so he would always call me elder and crap (even after I told him I’m not a member).  He was copying every single image of me and my friends and putting them on his minihome.  Then he started commenting and swearing and crap in the comments so I frantically found out how to kick him permanently off of commenting on my cyworld minihome.  Here’s an example of some of the crap he wrote:

THEN I had to figure out how to kick him from seeing anything from my minihome since he still copied my images.  THEN he came back as a non-logged in user and I had to figure out how to block THEM from leaving comments.  At this point he went totally completely psycho from not being able to do things on my minihome so he started commenting on all my stuff as an anonymous user.  I didn’t know how to block them so I was quickly deleting his posts one by one.  At the same time I was trying to figure out how to block them.  Once I figured it out I was extremely relieved.  I guess it was a good exercise in learning how personal security settings worked …  Seriously this, guy was creepy beyond belief.  He would put my pictures on his wall, comment on them, comment on his own comments, edit his comments completely changing them constantly, and say bad things about me and my friends (who he knows none).  He even went on my friends minihome and made bad comments about them (they asked me who this random guy was who said this crap).

Anyways, he has also been commenting about me on a forum I frequent.  He said crap like I’m a mormon missionary (which I’m obviously not), that I am a suspect of taking drugs (seriously, WTF?P), and some other crap.  He changes what he writes after I leave a comment so I just decided to leave a comment that mentioned that and that I didn’t want to speak to him again.  Here’s a screenshot of random crap him and some girl he knows said after I did a introduction post:

WTF is up with the random posts about missionary work?  In the bottom one he accuses me of being a drug user.  Ef you.

If you’re reading this, I have nothing against you other than the fact that you say random crap about me.  I don’t even freaking know you.  Go find a girlfriend or a real friend to hang out with instead of doing this crap.

I am a VERY deep sleeper, and as such I don’t really remember my dreams (assuming I have them).  But, I woke up today and realized I had a dream!  It’s always a fun occurrence since it only happens like once a year.  Well, this dream wasn’t particularly fun.  I had dreamed that it was the day before my flight to Korea and I still didn’t have something I needed from the Korean consulate (though I had my visa, so I’m not sure what it was).  Yeah, I was happy after I woke up remembering I have more than a week left and have everything.

I had an article that got on the front page of Reddit for a couple of hours!  For those that don’t know, Reddit is a social news website where people can post links, stories, etc. which everyone can vote on (up or down).  That way, the most interesting stories go to the front and it’s easy to see news and other interesting things which other people are actually interested in.  I’ve found it to be much more valuable in many ways than regular news sources.

Well, I’ve been a long time reader, first time submitter.  I submitted my story about leaving the LDS/Mormon church and told people they could ask me any question and I would answer it.  There’s over 550 comments and I’ve answered every single question submitted.  If you would like, feel free to submit a question there and I’ll answer it.  Otherwise, you might find it interesting to read.  I posted my 22 page long story, which was the first time I publicly released that document.

I’ve been studying Korea and Korean for a long time, so I’m way excited to be going to SNU.  As an American, I feel a special responsibility to represent my country as best I can.  While I’m there, I will constantly remind myself of this fact and make sure that I present a good image for both myself and my nation.

For some people, I might be the only American they’ve met (though not so common in Seoul) and more likely I might be the only American who can actually talk to them in their own language.  As such, I would really like to do some volunteer work while I’m over there.  Specifically, if possible I’d really like to do some kind of service for North Korean refugees in South Korea.  I don’t know how realistic this goal is, but I would like to find out more.  I’ll try to do some research and contact people after I get to SNU to see if there is some way I can do tutoring or something for North Korean refugees within a reasonable distance.  I have a special place in my heart for the North Korean people who suffer so much and lose out on so many opportunities.  Anyways, if I can help just one person out then that would make me really happy and hopefully make some sort of a difference in their life.

Anyways, if anyone knows anything about organizations or programs along these lines I would love to hear about it.

I’m flip-flopping every second on the dorm … I asked for more info.  They said the only big difference in the rooms is the size, which makes me think I would rather have a smaller room.
