Pyongyang, June 1 (KCNA) — A joint friendly meeting of children and women here and foreign children and women took place at the Taesongsan Pleasure Park on Tuesday to mark the 60th International Children’s Day … Korean children presented numbers representing the happy life they are leading while bringing their talents into full bloom under the care of General Secretary Kim Jong Il. Foreign children sang Korean songs well to be acclaimed by audience. The Korean and foreign children had diverse sports and amusement games such as jumping over flower-decorated rope, looking for things and snatching a ball. After the amusement games the participants spent pleasant time, dancing together and using amusement facilities. A friendly gathering was also held in Chongjin, North Hamgyong Province, on the same day.
